short film script - “Two Deer” (2024)

Two Deer was a script for a short film that I wrote about the experiences my family and I had when my grandparents passed away. I found it relevant to include this script as I believe it was some of my best creative work put to the page. I found this script particularly interesting to write because it is a lived experience that I remember and has a special place in my heart, I always wanted to do something like this to show my dad after his parents passed away. This is an authentic script to who I am as a storyteller and the kind of story I would like to put to film.

yesdude! - “Brain Stain” (2023)

Brain Stain is a song by the Boone power-pop band “yesdude!” who I collaborated with very closely during my time at Appalachian State. This song was recorded in Kernersville, NC at Fidelitorium Studios. The band was very excited to get a chance to hop in a real studio, and the process of putting this music out was arduous but in the end very rewarding. I am proud of my work on this song and the band was very happy with the release.

Dinner scene from the short film “crossover” (2024)

This scene was a project for my video editing lab at Appalachian State University. We were given around twenty different takes and angles to put this scene together from. Given the wide aspect ratio the film was shot in, it was interesting to work out how to cut out various production elements (lights, booms) from the scene while still keeping the integrity of the shot intact. I was very happy with the outcome of this scene and the tone it created within.

A few mixed elements from some of the graphic design work I have done for local bands in the past few years. These are just a few designs for stickers, shirts, and album covers. All of these works were created between 2022 and 2024 and have seen success in merchandising and have been selected for official album artwork on streaming services as well as physical media.
